Hatchet Cove Farm has applied for and received a grant (from Wholesome Wave, via MOFGA) that will cover half of the cost of the EBT-paid veggie CSA shares! We’re really excited about this, and also excited that this grant can now be extended to any of the other add-on shares (chicken, eggs, bread, cheese, mushrooms) if you want to purchase those shares, as well. I still don’t know the exact specifics of the amount of the grant for those add-on shares, but it will most likely also pay for half. If you use Food Stamps and want to add any of those shares to your delivery, send me an email or access your account online to do so.
