Cheese CSA and Food Stamps options

Hello CSAers!

We’re happy to be able to offer another twist in the CSA model: the cheese CSA! We have worked out the details with Silvery Moon Creamery (www.silverymooncheese.com) and will be making deliveries of their cheeses along with our veggies to those of you who are interested. The cost is $12 a week ($216 in total) for at least one and a half pounds of their amazing cheeses, including at least three different varieties (a mix of fresh and aged) per week. They will, to the best of their ability, pair up the selections with seasonal produce, i.e. crème fraiche when strawberries are in and fresh mozzarella at the height of the tomato season. If you want to join the cheese CSA, let me know by April 15th!

Also, we are in the process of becoming able to accept Food Stamps to pay for CSA shares. If you are interested in paying this way, or if you know of someone who now might be interested in joining the CSA, please let us know. We’d love to utilize this option.

Remember that if you are paying in installments, the first installment of $100 is due on April 1st, unless you have worked out an alternate plan with us. Thank you!

Be well, and look forward to a delicious season!
