The season is fully in swing at the farm: broccoli, kale, swiss chard, collards, onions, leeks, and shallot seedlings have all been transplanted into the fields. We harvested our first salad greens out of the greenhouse to sell to the local co-ops, and got 600 lbs of seed potatoes this week to plant out soon. The ewes still have not given birth to their lambs (we’re starting to wonder about the effectiveness of our ram!), but we’ll be sure to tell you if/when they do.
If you are paying in installments or all at once, remember that a payment is due May 1st. Please be in touch with us if you need a different timeline. If you are getting a cheese CSA share, please send the check for $216 along if you haven’t done so already. Also, we can officially take food stamps now, so spread the word! We still have some open spaces.
Happy spring, and feel free to come visit us at the farm to see how your veggies are growing!
