It’s finally time for the Hatchet Cove Farm Fall CSA sign-up! The fall share consists of four weeks of produce for $90, including spinach and mesclun mix from the hoophouse, winter squash such as Butternut, Delicata, Acorn, Carnival, Spaghetti and Red Kuri, onions, garlic, shallots, carrots, beets, radishes, potatoes, kale, chard and more!

The fall pick-up locations this year are the following:
1. First Universalist Church, Rockland, Sundays 10:30-11:30am
2. Hatchet Cove Farm, Warren, Mondays 5-6pm
3. Ashwood Waldorf School, Rockport, Tuesdays 8:30-9am (pre-packed shares)

As always, if you miss your scheduled pick-up you can get your share out of the walk-in at the farm later in the day or week. If you had hoped to pick up your fall share at Pen Bay Hospital, please send me an email and let me know. If we have enough interest we may include a Tuesday afternoon Pen Bay delivery, as well.

Add-on shares that are available for the fall include Appleton Creamery cheese ($42), Oyster Creek Mushroom Co. ($42), and FIORE oil and vinegar ($25). All fall deliveries will begin the week of October 19th.

One final thing: Save the Date! The tentative weather-dependent date for our annual cider-pressing, garlic-popping CSA potluck is Sunday, October 19th at 1pm. We hope to see you all at the farm for what is inevitably one of my favorite afternoons of the year!
