Brrrrr! The hard freeze last Sunday night put a inevitable end to our tomato greenhouses. We knew that the cold was bound to arrive, and we felt pretty lucky to get through the third week of the fall CSA with tomatoes. We’re grateful to now move on to a whole-hearted appreciation of the beautiful fall crops.
If you’re thinking “another bunch of kale?!” don’t worry, you’re not alone. But these are the final weeks of fresh greens and we want to share every last leaf that we can with you all. If you’re all kaled out for now, though, consider following the simple recipe below and put by your kale for winter. It’s easy and quick and you’ll definitely be glad to have your HCF kale in January!
If you haven’t done so already, please take a minute to complete the CSA member survey. It’s incredibly helpful to us. Thank you! You can also find it at www.tinyurl.com/csasurvey2015.
Have a beautiful week and enjoy your autumn meals!
